Omar and the Eastern Power

We’re thrilled to welcome them for the very first time in Marrakech, stopping at Kabana during their Morocco tour.

They will be performing in @kabana.marrakech ahead of their shows at Visa for Music (Rabat) and KickOff (Casablanca) — a rare chance to experience their explosive sound up close.

@the_eastern_power Omar and the Eastern Power is a Seoul-based band born from the meeting of Moroccan, Egyptian and Korean musicians. Together, they fuse North African grooves, Sahelian percussion and Korean sounds in a psychedelic, transcultural musical journey. Shaped by their migrant backgrounds and a shared vision, they create a borderless sound at the crossroads of Gnawa, Afrobeat and dub — a vibrant hope for the contemporary world music scene.
