About the event
After a year of absence, we are thrilled to welcome Khadija El Warzazia back to Kabana for a unique live performance celebrating the roots of Moroccan music.

For over 25 years, Khadija has championed the traditions of Bnat El Houariyat, a multi-generational women's percussion ensemble from Marrakech known for its vibrant Huara and Chaabi music. Blending traditional percussion, powerful vocals and the distinctive sound of the tabsil, Khadija brings a performance rooted in Moroccan heritage, rhythm and female expression. She is also recognized as the first woman to publicly perform Gnawa music in Morocco.
